Charlie Uebergang licensed for Word and Sacrament
Many family members, local residents and other members of the community gathered for a service at St Peter’s Lutheran Church on Sunday June 20th to mark a special day in the life journey of Pittsworth resident Charlie Uebergang.

The purpose of the service was to licence Mr Uebergang for Word and Sacrament Ministry in the Pittsworth Lutheran Parish.
Bishop Paul Smith led the service and his address for the occasion was based upon ‘Five lessons for Ministry from a Young Boy’.
That ‘boy’ refers to David in the Bible, as he took on Goliath the giant.
Mr Uebergang is widely acknowledged for his Pastoral Care service to staff, residents and their families at Beauaraba Living, and many representatives from the aged care facility were in attendance on Sunday.
The day was a momentous one for Mr Uebergang, his family and all others in attendance.
