Charity campdraft hailed a heartwarming success
Organisers were delighted with the three-day Charity Campdraft at Pittsworth Showgrounds last month.

“It went so well, we are stoked, and the comments we have received back regarding the event as a whole is so heartwarming,” Pittsworth and District Campdraft Association secretary Deb Standing said.
The event served as a fundraiser for the families of the police officers killed in a shooting while serving their community at Tara on December 12.
Ms Standing said visitors and participants had commented on the excellent grounds, the camping facilities and the atmosphere.
“We had 1090 head of cattle supplied to us from Macquarie Wagyu, Austrex - Harrow at Cambooya,
D. & B. Curr and family, and the Pentecost Family, Lake Lillerie Feedlot, “ she said.
There were approximately 800 first round runs and then the finals.
An official presentation would be made to police once the proceeds had been calculated for the event.
