Chamber celebrates float parade
Oakey’s Chamber of Commerce celebrated the culmination of weeks of work at the Grand Central Floral Parade during the Carnival of Flowers.

Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was the theme and the float was made up of tables, chairs and a mixed array of plants in a cottage-garden theme.
Academy of Dance, Oakey were dressed up and Oakey Scouts Group led the way.
The parade float structure is an old truck converted into a flat-top by Oakey State High students of 2020-2021 and the Chamber of Commerce has done minor renovations each year since.
