Celebration at the station
In honour of Kevin Slattery, the last Station Master based in Clifton, a model train was presented to the Clifton Railway Station recently.
udy, the wife of Mr Slattery, Station Coordinator Maureen Mitchell and Tim Blades.
Many family members and friends were there on the day to help celebrate the occasion, which included a morning tea.
It was also a special occasion for a few locals who could remember the days of a Station Master at Clifton and Mr Slattery himself.
The plaques for the model train read:
