The vehicle was travelling in a southerly direction, towards Clifton.

Senior Constable Tyson Morris from Clifton Police said while police are currently investigating the incident, fatigue or driver inattention are being looked at as possible factors in causing the crash.

He said the vehicle failed to safely negotiate the turn, taking our signposts and causing minor damage to a farm fence.

While speeds of up to 100km/h are allowed on the surrounding stretch of Clifton Pittsworth Road, motorists are advised to decrease their speed to 40km/h as they negotiate the sharp bend, which is at close to a 45 degree angle.
