Cambooya teen scoring goals
Although she stars as a goalie, Jordon Fenton-Anderson, a 14-year-old from Cambooya, who has been scoring goals in her own way, recently returned to Australia from her first time wearing the green and gold, competing in the sport of futsal.

Jordon was a member of the girls’ futsal team to tour the United Kingdom October 2022.
The girls team came home with a Runners Up in the Scossie Cup – Scotland and a personal highlight for Jordon was being awarded a ‘Player of the Match.’
Peta Fenton-Anderson said her daughter, Jordon, has had an amazing 2022 of futsal.

All Stars Team
July 2022 - Captain 14-15 years Queensland Elite Girls Team who travelled to Fiji and bought home the Tivi Cup
September 2022 - National Schools Futsal Championships
Captain 14’s South West team-Runners Up
All Stars Team
Team member 15’s South West- Runners Up
October 2022 - Australian team to tour the United Kingdom
Scossie Cup - Scotland-Runners Up
Player of the Match
November 2022 - Currently training as part of the Darling Downs Futsal team to compete at the State Championships 24th-26th November in Brisbane
Next year, her plans are:
January 2023 - National Club Futsal Championships in Sydney, where she hopes to again bring home the Golden Glove.
August 2023 - Member of the Australian team to travel to Brazil as part of the “Centre of Excellence” Tour
Peta said Jordon is extremely lucky to have access to some of the best Futsal and Goal Keeper Coaches, through the South West Highlanders Futsal Academy in Toowoomba on a weekly basis.
“She’s got lots of exciting things that she’s looking forward to in 2023,” Peta said.
