Cambooya hosts Seniors Morning Tea
The fourth edition of Seniors Morning Tea, which has been travelling around local towns, made its way to the recently renovated Cambooya Public Hall last Wednesday.

This month, the Cambooya Friendship Group welcomed the Seniors Morning Tea to join their fun.
Shannon Priebbenow of Priebbenow Silage, who helped to organise the event, said combining both groups made for a fun morning of a delicious social morning tea, games of Hoy and much laughter.
“It was a perfect recipe to build friendships and reduce social isolation for seniors within our community,” Mrs Priebbenow said.
Carol Priebbenow, who also helped to organise the event, said it was so wonderful to see different social groups coming together and building new friendships.
The morning was a great success, with 41 attending raising $169 for the charity of choice, Angel Flight.
Cambooya Friendship Group meets monthly for morning tea and games of Hoy. All are welcome.

Shannon Priebbenow said she wished to give a big thank you to all who have supported the Seniors Morning Teas for 2021.
“It is very rewarding to see the positives it brings into our valued senior members of our community,” she said.
“We wish you a very merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you all next year at Nobby.”
