Big Thanks To Helpers On Matt’s Day
The Scope Club of Allora Inc. would like to congratulate and thank the Southern Downs Regional Council staff and Councillors for their support of our community for the Matt Denny welcome home.
It was a pleasure to see so many working together for such a positive outcome.
The donation of food from the local coffee shops and the bakeries in Warwick and Toowoomba so afternoon tea could be free of charge was wonderful to see.
And a big thanks to the local business houses for their welcomed support.
It was great to be able to use the community hall for this occasion. Thanks also to those who supplied decorations, set up and then cleaned up. We really appreciate everything that Sue Higgins did to organise and co-ordinate this event.
Thanks also to the Allora Advertiser for their continued support of all things local.
And the biggest THANK YOU to Matt for giving his time so generously over the weekend. A true ambassador for his sport and Allora. Thank you all.
