Big celebrations at Cobb & Co

Toowoomba’s Cobb+Co Museum is hosting a four-day long event from August 14 to 17 to commemorate the last run of a Cobb & Co. Coach.

On 14 August, 1924, the era of horse-drawn coaches gave way to modern technologies like motor vehicles, air mail services, and railways with the final run of a Cobb & Co. Coach.

The August event will feature live demonstrations, expert talks and more for people of all ages to enjoy and celebrate.

Things to see and do:

  • Explore the National Carriage Collection, featuring more than 50 horse-drawn vehicles from Queensland’s transport history

  • Experience live heritage trade demonstrations from blacksmithing to wheelwrighting and more
