Back to Back for Drop Bears Cricket
Oakey Junior Cricket’s Drop Bears team has won Toowoomba Cricket’s Stage 3 competition (the highest level of non-representative junior cricket).

Back to back premierships don’t happen every day and we are enjoying this feeling.
I’ve loved the opportunity to coach in these past two seasons - to see these kids improve as players and grow into young men who know how to work together as a team.
I’m proud to have coached such a great bunch of country kids with a passion for cricket.
The boys listened to learn and never gave up.
They’ve been consistent all season and have played some really good cricket.
Oakey Junior Cricket also organised professional coaching sessions as part of the kids’ development.
This investment in our players really boosted their confidence and improved their skill set.
A big ‘Thank You’ to our sponsors who play a major part in making this possible.
Our executives are to be recognised for keeping our club going.
Their dedication to country cricket has given our kids the opportunity to play the game they love.
We have players from Oakey, Dalby, Kingsthorpe, Highfields, Quinalow, Goombungee and Jondaryan in our Stage 3 Blue Under 16 - Drop Bears team.
We are lucky to have a great group of parents supporting with training, scoring and getting our kids to games.
Congratulations to our trophy recipients though you’d have to agree the
real winner here is cricket!
