Another Defibrillator For Allora
It is really great to see Allora’s community groups supporting each other in the tradition of the best little town on the Downs.

The Allora Swimming Club won a defibrillator at a recent swim meet.
As the Club already has a defibrillator Secretary Hayley Mason checked with the Allora Medical Support Group if they knew of a not-for-profit group that could use the equipment.
The Allora Show Society accepted the offer.
President of the Show Society Shirley Cornhill said the Society had discussed purchasing a machine at one of its meetings due to the number of different activities that happen throughout the year.
The defibrillator will be placed on the outside wall of the canteen.
This site was the most suitable as it will enable those using the Showgrounds easy access in time of need.
Earlier this year the Clifton Local Ambulance Committee installed an automated external defibrillator at the Allora Medical Centre in Herbert Street.
