Allora's Photographer of The Year
At the recent breakup dinner of the Allora Photography Group, the Photographer of the Year Award was announced.
President Jan presented Trevor with the award as he was the clear winner with 80 points accumulated over 10 competitions during 2024.
This was achieved despite missing one of those competitions entirely, so there was no doubt about the quality of the body of work Trevor presented throughout the year.
At the dinner members enjoyed a Trivia quiz followed by an informal members choice vote for photo of the year. Members and guests selected Glenda’s “In the palm of my hand” as their favourite from a sample of images that were awarded Honour during the year.
First topic for 2025 is “Repetition” and entries close at 6pm on Friday January 31st.
Next year the Group will kick off on Wednesday 8th January at 33 Forde St Allora, 7pm with the AGM followed by a short general meeting. All welcome.
