Allora Men's Shed elects new committee
The Allora Men’s Shed held their Annual General Meeting on Saturday 31st of July 2021. This year the well attended meeting was held at the Allora R.S.L.
After the opening, the outgoing President Bob Burge gave his Annual President’s Report, followed by Barry Hanlon who gave a very comprehensive Annual Treasurers report.
Ian Tate from the Warwick Credit Union acted as Adjudicator for the Election of Office Bearers and he acknowledged the fine work that the members of the Allora Men’s Shed do in the local community.
Ian then declared all Committee positions vacant and called for nominations for the AMS Committee for 2021/22. Graham Hickson was elected President, Barry Hanlon Treasurer, James Willis Secretary and Brett Nottage elected Assistant Secretary /Treasurer. Committee members are Rex Rigbye, Garry Taylor and John Crombie. Patron of the Men’s Shed remains Ken Gilliam.
After the election of Office Bearers the meeting was closed and the July Monthly Meeting held. Members then enjoyed light refreshment provided by the RSL.
