Allora Local Shines on Stage
Warwick Christian College Year 5 student, Jemimah Drennert, captivated the audience at the Border Districts Eisteddfod in Stanthorpe last week with outstanding performances in both vocal and piano categories.

Jemimah impressed the judges with her rendition of “Defying Gravity” in the Year 5/6 Musical Theatre Solo, winning first place in her age group and earning the title of 18 Years and Under Musical Theatre Champion.
On her second day of competition, Jemimah continued to excel, securing first place in the 10 Years and Under Vocal Solo for her powerful performance of “Climb Every Mountain.”
She then delivered an imaginative and entertaining interpretation of “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid in the 12 Years and Under Character Solo section, earning second place.
Jemimah attributes her success to God for giving her the ability to sing, her parents, and her dedicated music teacher, Mrs. Natalie Blanche.
