Allora Bowls Season Comes To An End
All done and dusted for another season and what a great night of social bowls it was.
Everyone enjoyed a BBQ dinner before game commenced, thank you to Wendy, Hethe and Sue for a great meal.
Congratulations to Chris Brown, Moley and Beetle of Pig Lures on 21 who were season winners.
Their names will now be added to the Lyn Wright Memorial shield as winners of the Summer season and to Doesn’t Matter as runners up on 18.
It was nearly a play off for runners up with Phoenix Rising wanting a win over Pig Lures and then playing off with Doesn’t Matter but that wasn’t to be. With a drawn game of 12 it put Phoenix Rising one point behind Doesn’t Matter.
A big thank you to my team members in Doesn’t Matter, Kris Wright and Kev Hurley. This time it really did matter as we have always been near the bottom of the ladder and thank you to my best sub Russell Porter.
