Allora & District Days for Girls Update
So, the end of the tax year has come and gone but amazing achievements have been accomplished by the Allora and district Days for Girls group.

For this financial year the group has made and packed an incredible 1620 kits. What an effort.
In order to achieve this we would sincerely like to thank - St Patricks Parish for the use of the hall and allowing us to store our materials; Allora hardware store, Brysons florist and Cassaz Colourful Curls for drop offs and the Heritage weekend team for allowing us to run our multi-draw raffle on their weekend.
Also thanks to anyone who has donated money, fabric, soap, underwear, face washers or prizes for raffles and of course anyone who has bought a raffle ticket.
We deeply appreciate being part of a caring and awesome community who is willing to help us do what we can to help girls and women across the world and in Australia. This is achieved by the ongoing assistance we receive.
Of course, there is always more to be done so the gathering this month will focus on all items needed for completing the refugee packs due Aug/Sep.
As usual if anyone would like to come and long see what we do and see if you can assist in any way, please do.
The next gathering will be on Monday 31st July at 9am at MacKillop House in Warwick Street Allora.
