A week to remember for Wattles Under 9s
It’s been an amazing couple of weeks for Wattles players with some gaining Central Downs selection, a visit to Gundy and on Sunday afternoon (22nd May) running onto Cbus Stadium to play at half time in the Titans-Sharks NRL clash.

Wattles Under 9s James Mason, Saxon Darlington, Noah Schwenke, Riley Boom, Alex Wolski, Malakai Darlington, William Berry, Sophia Voss, Liam Hoey, Harry Jones and Ayden Willett celebrating their half time NRL exhibition match on the Gold Coast.
The Warriors handled the challenging Gilbert Oval conditions and their opponents well. Coach George Berry rated his team’s effort in their NRL thriller highly.
An excited team played very well in the wet conditions coming away with a 3 tries to 2 win against the Norths Ipswich Tigers.
The game was over quickly but the kids will remember the experience forever.
Best wishes and quick recovery to William Berry, denied the thrills due to a hand injury.
