2024 Showgirl winners announced
The Pittsworth Show Society held its Awards Night at Rusty’s Bar and Grill to announce the Showgirl, Junior Showgirl, and Junior Rural Ambassador winners for 2024.
President Allan Denning and Patron Eddie Fuhlbohm spoke a few words of introduction.
A two course meal followed with dessert.
The entrants were then presented by Darling Downs Sub Chamber winner Elly Close.
The winners were announced at 8.15pm by Amanda Riehl with the following results.
The 2024 Junior Showgirl winner was Jessica Hegarty, and the runners-up were Anastazia Kingsford and Brianna Gartner.
The 2024 Junior Rural Ambassador winner was Nicole Robertson.
The 2024 Showgirl winner was Beccy Karlisch, and the runner-up was Kelsie Wilkes.
This year’s competition judges were Liz Allen, Rob Brower and Matthew Duff.
Together they have a vast range of experience in the agricultural industry, from stock agent to food technologist.
Ms Allen said the competition was tight and they had a hard time choosing just one winner.
The night ended with live music by Andrew Kucks.
