2023 Goombungee-Haden Showgirl announced
Meet this year’s Goombungee-Haden Showgirl Award winner Chloe Ferguson.
The 60th Goombungee-Haden Show Ball was held on Saturday night, with Chloe Ferguson announced as this year’s Showgirl award winner.
Chloe was also crowned the 2023 Charity Showgirl, having raised $4,742.60 for the Show Society in the Goombungee-Haden district, by putting on events such as a Charity Bowls tournament at Peranga.
In December, Chloe was reported in the Champion as saying the following about herself:
“I’m 20 years old and have just completed my first year of Occupational Therapy at the University of the Sunshine Coast,” she said.
“I live on a rural property outside of Goombungee where my family runs beef cattle.
“I enjoy playing Social Sports.
“I am also an active community member, attending as many events as possible.
“I look forward to the upcoming Show Season."
