Work Has Commenced on Allora Precinct

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel for Allora’s Town Precinct with workmen on site at the Senior Citizens Rooms.

Last week scaffolding was being erected to enable work to get underway on the re-arrangement of occupancy at the Allora precinct.

When completed the Library will move into the old Senior Citizens Rooms with entry to the library down the side of the Museum via the double glass doors.

The redevelopment includes relocating the library, upgrading the septic, heating and lighting systems, adding new meeting rooms and creating a new after-hours back entry.

The contract for the Allora Precinct Project was awarded in January to Brisbane firm, I.C.M. Construction (Qld) Pty Ltd.

The contact indicated that work will be completed with 121 days which would be late June 2025.

Looks like Perry Cronin, President of the Allora Sports Museum is excited as he’s already collecting boxes for the big move.
